The Palm Springs area is known as the “golf capital of the world” for good reason.

With more than 130 area golf courses, it is the ideal spot for a golf getaway.

January is a great time to golf in Palm Springs because of it’s mild temperatures and very little rain.

Natural beauty and mountain backdrops provide scenic views while teeing off.

Palm Mountain Resort & Spa has great relationships with three beautiful and very challenging golf courses:

Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort – One of the premier public golf resorts in Palm Springs, it more importantly offers two challenging championship golf courses: The Resort Course and The Legend Course.

Escena Golf Club – Ranked as the #6 Public Course in California by PGATOUR.com, this Nicklaus Design golf course is noted for its clear sightlines and generous driving lanes as well as overall strength of its design.

Indian Canyons Golf Resort – This fabulous course is a 2018 Winner of Best of the Valley by the Desert Sun, in addition, this 36-hole facility was a favorite of Hollywood celebrities and former U.S. Presidents.

It seems the PGA also agrees that January is a great time to golf in Palm Springs…

The Desert Classic, a PGA Tour stop on the FedExCup, rolls into town in mid-January.

Held at PGA WEST Stadium & Nicklaus Courses – La Quinta Country Club on Jan. 17-20, the 60th Anniversary Desert Classic tees off at 8:30 am on Thursday.

The Bob Hope Legacy Pro-Am on Jan. 16 is a special, one-day Pro-Am event, combines four amateurs with a top PGA TOUR professional for a memorable round of golf.

In the evening, get ready to rock with the Desert Classic Concert Series.

This year’s performers include Sammy Hagar & The Circle on Saturday night and Bad Company on Sunday night.

After your round of golf, relax at our spa with a Golfer’s Massage.

This desert favorite uses a SPAball Kaddy™ to release trigger points and relax tense muscles throughout the body.
